Leftnutt were less than amateur; terrible players, who hailed themselves as

They would play
for free to whomever would allow them on their stage. Dumb luck and persistence
saw the boys get it
together,
people started coming to the gigs to witness the sweaty/insane live show and to
sing-a-long to the cock-rock anthems
only Leftnutt could kick out.
Leftnutt has been
called the "Clown Prince's of Punk", and they live up to the name
with their debut release on Dead Bunny
Records, simply
titled, "XXX". Leftnutt combines pop punk lyrics and gang vocals with
catchy melodies and rhythms
that fill the
dance floor with sweet whiskey swillin' and beer spittin' ladies. PARENTAL
ADVISORY - this album is a mess of tasteless and
often deranged
misogynistic lyrics of alcohol abuse and female adoration, do NOT play it for
your girlfriends, mothers or especially
Oprah Winfrey -
they'll think you are a real bastard. Leftnutt debut CD, "XXX" has
been picked up by independent stations across Canada.
With the
addition of Slava on the bass and some new songs showing up in the set list,
plans for a new
album to be released in 2011 are in the works.
